This is a grand old album with a period collection to match! Pages of the album go to 1890 only with spaces also for envelopes/cutouts etc.
Given the heritage of this album, the Europe section holds the main value of this collection with valuable country ranges throughout. Germany & States and Italy & States are particularly strong with a good number of stamps running into the 000's and many, many others in the hundreds, but most European countries are well represented with large catalogue values. There are pickings throughout the other areas and overall there are many thousands of stamps.
Given the age of the album, many of the stamps have been placed in the album with paper hinges. It does look like glassine hinges were later used for some stamps.
The 400 images below show all pages with three or more stamps, unless more noteworthy. Some of the pages with cutouts have also been shown, but not all. Please allow time for the images to load and do have a careful look through to fully appreciate what is on offer. Condition will of course be mixed given the age of the collection.
