These terms apply to purchases made from Davaura Stamps through this website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
About us
Davaura Stamps is a UK-based independent stamp dealer supplying stamps, collections and other philatelic material to collectors in the UK and worldwide.

Products and descriptions
We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our items accurately.
Many of the stamps and philatelic items offered are pre-owned, historic or collectable material and may therefore show characteristics consistent with their age and previous use.
Photographs form an important part of the description. Where faults, imperfections, cancellations, markings, gum condition, perforations or other characteristics are clearly shown or specifically described, these form part of the description of the item.
Colours may vary slightly depending on photographic conditions and the device or screen used to view an item.
Availability
Many of our items are individual pieces with only one example available. All orders are therefore subject to availability.
We also sell through other sales channels. Our inventory is synchronised between these channels, but in the unlikely event that an item sells elsewhere before our systems have updated, we may have to cancel the order. In these circumstances, the customer will receive a full refund.
Prices and payment
Prices displayed on the website are the prices payable for the goods, excluding any separately stated delivery charges.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Davaura Stamps is VAT registered. Eligible second-hand and collectable goods may be sold under the applicable VAT margin/global accounting arrangements. VAT will not be separately stated on invoices for goods sold under a margin scheme.
Orders
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel an order where there has been an obvious pricing or listing error, the item is no longer available, payment cannot be authorised, or we are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid will be refunded.
Delivery
Delivery charges, services and estimated delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy and are also shown at checkout where applicable.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights regarding cancellations, returns, damaged goods and refunds are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Website information
We take reasonable care to ensure that information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, occasional typographical, technical or pricing errors may occur.
We may update product information, prices, policies or other website content where reasonably necessary.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Subject to those rights, Davaura Stamps will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of the country in which you live.
